Searsons Wine Merchants, has a number of new wines on its 2011 list.
Searsons is now the exclusive Irish distributor of Champagne Bruno Paillard. The Paillard family’s involvement in Champagne is over 300 years old. In 1981, Bruno Paillard sold his vintage Jaguar to set up his own family champagne business. As owner of a family business himself, Charles Searson admires this commitment. This investment is now yielding superb results, as the wine enjoys a strong presence in leading restaurants and specialist stores throughout France. Bruno Paillard champagnes are favoured by sommeliers; their low dosage, extended ageing and disgorgement dates being regarded as hallmarks of excellent quality.
The company now also distributes wines from Quinta Do Vallado (Portugal), Bodegas Rey Fernando de Castella (sherry), and Inurrieta (Navarra) as well as the Winestar glassware range.
Searsonswines are exclusively available through the on-trade and independent channels.
