Eamon Doran Ltd., which operates Doran’s pub and music venue in Temple Bar, Dublin, has gone into liquidation with debts of €917,000, including €602,000owed to the Revenue Commissioners.

Dermot Doran, a director of Eamonn Doran Limited, said in a statement to a creditors’ meeting that the pub encountered trading difficulties earlier this year. He failed to secure outside investment which would have repaid debts which were due to the company’s landlord and the Revenue Commissioners. A deal with potential investors was meant to have closed last June but delays eventually led to the landlord taking possession of the premises at Crown Alley on August 26th.
