The  Discover the Origin campaign which was launched yesterday has been introduced to educate and excite Irish food and wine fans about a range of unique European products, all with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status.

Discover the Origin unites a delicious fusion of fine foods and wine, including Parma Ham and Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese, Burgundy Wines, Port and Douro Wines. Irish food aficionados will be invited to participate in training sessions and events to find out more about why these products are so special and learn about what it means to have a PDO - the mark of excellence.
