The Pierhouse Bar and Restaurant, is offered for sale by receiver Niall Coveney of Ernst & Young, and it could achieve between €1m and €1.5m.

Meanwhile, the liquidator of a Donegal hotel, Ostan na Rosann, has disclosed a reserve price of €500,000 for the 48-bedroom Dungloe hotel.  In 2007 the owner Maurice McBride had been asking €3m for the hotel and earlier this year Jim Stafford, liquidator, MMB Hotels Ltd, had been hoping to achieve €885,000 from its sale.
The Pierhouse, a two-storey traditional property has a  lounge bar, back bar, snug bar, staff rooms and store, as well as an upstairs 50-seater restaurant and kitchen.
