Fáilte Ireland has announced details of a new campaign to encourage the Irish business community to hold more meetings in Ireland. 'Keep Ireland Meeting Week', which will begin next Monday 28th June, is designed to highlight the benefits of holding meetings outside of the office environment and urges businesses to have more face to face meetings with their colleagues.
Speaking about the new campaign, Keelin Fagan, Manager of Business Tourism at Fáilte Ireland – 'Over recent years we have seen a decrease in the number of corporate meetings held here in Ireland. With this campaign we hope to highlight the benefits of holding meetings outside of the normal working environment as well as showcasing the range and value of business venues that are available throughout the country. Productivity, pro-activeness and partnership are all enhanced by the immediacy and personal interaction that only a face-to-face meeting can deliver. At present there is a wide range of hotels and meeting venues offering very competitive rates and numerous experienced organisers offering you all the service and support required to hold a successful meeting. So we would urge businesses to see what great value is on offer by visiting www.keepirelandmeeting.ie.' Keep Ireland Meeting comes on foot of successful campaigns held in both Britain and the US - Keep Britain Talking and Keep America Meeting. Both campaigns have proved extremely valuable for the corporate events industry and provided a much needed boost to both hotels and business venues. The Keep Ireland Meeting campaign will include a comprehensive print and broadcast advertising as well as a dedicated website highlighting great value special offers and the wide range of venues available. So Keep Ireland Meeting, people connect better when you meet them face to face.
